Mary just keeps on running!

Mary Lee is on a journey. She's lost a bunch of weight, and made it her goal to run a half marathon before she turns 40 (next January).

Only... something happened along the way. The lady who never thought she could run a half? Yeah, she finished one a couple months ago - way ahead of schedule!

Now she's booked for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, October 2 for what was going to be her first half and now is going to be the first one she runs the full distance. Her team will be with her, and we will celebrate at the finish for sure!

Funny thing about runners, though... there's always another thing to chase! So when Mary saw that the Tulsa Route 66 half marathon has a partnership and you get the Oklahoma Standard medal if you complete that along with the Oklahoma City race, well... guess who's now going to have run 3 halves before she turns 40??

That's right, you guessed it. Mary is heading to Tulsa in November to knock this one out too. Very cool, and we're all super excited for her here at the Foundation. You see, Mary is one of our fitness scholarship recipients, and we are beyond proud of the work she continues to put in.
